ποΈ Schedule a Paging Call or an Intercom Call
A scheduled paging call or intercom call in IZT Cloud Voice allows you to make an announcement at a specific date and time. You can set up regular or one-time broadcasts for important notifications.
Prerequisites
βΉοΈ Ensure that you have:
- Set up a Paging Group.
- Set up an Intercom Group.
Procedure
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Paging/Intercom, and click the Scheduled Paging/Intercom tab.
- Click Add.
- Schedule a paging or intercom call.
- Configure the following settings:
- Name: Enter a name for the scheduled call. For example,
Weekly Team Meeting
. - Type: Choose Paging or Intercom.
- Prompt: Select the prompt to be used for the paging/intercom call.
- Default Prompt: Uses the default system prompt.
- Custom Prompt: Applies only when a custom prompt is assigned to the selected paging group or intercom group.
- Start Date: Set the start date of the call.
- Start Time: Set up to 8 timings, ensuring the paging call or intercom call can be placed at different times.
- Days of Week: Specifies which days of the week the scheduled call should occur.
π‘ Note: The announcement will be canceled if the user rejects the call.

β οΈ Note: The paging or intercom call will only be played if the system prompt is assigned to the selected paging or intercom group.
- Click Save and Apply.
Result
The scheduled paging call or intercom call will be placed at specified times and dates. Users in the group will automatically receive the call.
