Set Up a SIP Phone

This guide walks you through the process of registering a SIP extension on a SIP phone.

Prerequisites

You have created a SIP extension.

Procedure

Gather Information
Gather the necessary information for extension registration:

  • Domain Name: The domain name for the PBX.

  • SIP Registration Port: Default is 5060 for IZT Cloud Voice.

  • Transport Protocol: Find this under Extension and Trunk > Extension > Advanced > Transport.

  • Extension Information: Located under Extension and Trunk > Extension > User:

    • • Extension Number
    • • Registration Name
    • • Registration Password
    • • Caller ID Name

Register the Extension
Register the extension on the phone:
  • • Access the phone's web interface.
  • • Fill in and save the required information.

Confirm Registration
Confirm the extension's registration status:
  • • Check the web interface of the phone.
  • • Log into the PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extension, and verify the endpoint registration status.

Result

The SIP phone is now ready for use. You can make and receive calls using the SIP phone.
