This topic describes how to set up call recording for extensions, trunks, conferences, and queues.

Set up Call Recording for Extensions

The extensions with call recording settings enabled can be configured as follows:

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Call Features > Recording.
  2. Select Extensions, then select users in extensions to enable saved automatically.
  3. Assign extensions to handle the call as expected.
  4. Follow setting system prompts using:
Set to Play Beep Periodically
  1. Click Save and Apply.

Set up Call Recording for Trunks

The system automatically detects call termination recording:

  1. Navigate to Call Features > Recording, and select Trunks.
  2. Choose the trunks as needed.
  3. In the Trunks tab, ensure that calls are selected and handled as expected.
Play Tone
  1. Save and Apply the configuration.

Set up Call Recording for Conferences

To manage recording during conference calls:

  1. Navigate to Call Features > Recording, and select Conferences.
  2. Assign relevant conferences ensuring Q&A during calls.
  3. Configure recording settings for group integration.
  4. Save and Apply.

Set up Call Recording for Queues

Setting up recording for queues:

  1. Navigate to Call Features > Recording, and select Queues.
  2. Assign queues configured to handle default processing.
