πŸ“§ Set up Email Notifications for Voicemail

This topic describes how to set up and manage email notifications for new voicemail messages.

Limitation

  • This feature is only for extension personal voicemails. New voicemail messages to Group Voicemail doesn’t support email notifications.

Prerequisites

Make sure:

  • A valid email address is assigned to each desired user extension mailbox.
  • PBX system for effective work, allowing notification emails to appropriate extensions.

Procedure

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extensions, edit the desired extension.
  2. Click Voicemail tab.
  3. In the Voicemail Notification drop-down list, decide whether to select a function key or notifications directly while selecting settings options.

Voicemail Notification Settings:

  • Send Email Notifications without Attachment: Send email notifications only.
  • Send Email Notifications with Attached Voicemail: Forward email with attached voicemail.
  • Delete Voicemail: Check to allow deleting voicemail messages from the mailbox.
  1. Enter the Email Address field where voicemail notifications will be received.
  2. Click Save to apply notifications settings:
