π§ Set up Email Notifications for Voicemail
This topic describes how to set up and manage email notifications for new voicemail messages.
Limitation
- This feature is only for extension personal voicemails. New voicemail messages to Group Voicemail doesnβt support email notifications.
Prerequisites
Make sure:
- A valid email address is assigned to each desired user extension mailbox.
- PBX system for effective work, allowing notification emails to appropriate extensions.
Procedure
- Log in to PBX web portal, go to Extension and Trunk > Extensions, edit the desired extension.
- Click Voicemail tab.
- In the Voicemail Notification drop-down list, decide whether to select a function key or notifications directly while selecting settings options.
Voicemail Notification Settings:
- Send Email Notifications without Attachment: Send email notifications only.
- Send Email Notifications with Attached Voicemail: Forward email with attached voicemail.
- Delete Voicemail: Check to allow deleting voicemail messages from the mailbox.
- Enter the Email Address field where voicemail notifications will be received.
- Click Save to apply notifications settings:
