Export and Import Auto Provisioning Phone Information
The Auto Provisioning phone list can be exported to a CSV (comma-separated values) file, which doubles as a ready-made template. Fill that file with the details of the phones you want to add, import it back into Cloud Voice, and every device is registered in a single pass instead of one at a time. This page covers both the export and the import.
Export the phone list
Section titled “Export the phone list”- Sign in to the Cloud Voice web portal and open Auto Provisioning > Phones.
- Above the phone list, click Export.
A CSV file downloads to your computer. For a breakdown of each column and the values it accepts, see Auto Provisioning Phone Information Parameters.
Import the phone list
Section titled “Import the phone list”Before you import, make sure your file meets these requirements:
- Format: UTF-8 CSV
- Size: under 50 MB
- File name: fewer than 127 characters
- Values: every field must fall within its allowed range. See Auto Provisioning Phone Information Parameters for the rules that apply to each column.
To import the file:
- Sign in to the Cloud Voice web portal and open Auto Provisioning > Phones.
- Above the phone list, click Import.
- In the dialog that appears, click Browse and choose your CSV file.
- Click Import.
The phones described in the file are added to the Auto Provisioning phone list.
