Manage Custom Prompts
Once a custom prompt exists on your Cloud Voice system, you can maintain it at any time from the same place you created it. Use the steps below to record a fresh version, listen to what is stored, save a local copy, or delete a prompt you no longer need.
Open the custom prompt list
Section titled “Open the custom prompt list”- Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal.
- Go to PBX Settings > Voice Prompt > Custom Prompt.
Each prompt appears with an Operations column that holds the actions described below.
Manage a prompt
Section titled “Manage a prompt”In the Operations column of the prompt you want to change, choose the action you need:
- Re-record the prompt: Click
, then pick the extension you want to record from. The system calls that extension so you can record a new version over the phone. - Play the prompt: Click
, then choose whether to hear the audio on an extension or directly in your browser. - Download the prompt: Click
to save the audio file to your computer. - Delete the prompt: Click
, confirm with OK, then click Apply to finish removing it.
