Allow Users to Force Drop Extensions' Calls
Call Force Drop lets you nominate specific extensions that are permitted to hang up another extension’s active call on demand. An authorized user triggers the action by dialing a feature code, which is useful when a call needs to be cleared immediately, for example to free a line or interrupt a stuck session.

How authorized users drop a call
Section titled “How authorized users drop a call”Once the permission is in place, an authorized user has two ways to end a call:
- Dial the feature code followed by the target extension number to drop that extension’s current call.
- Dial the feature code on its own to drop the current call on the monitored extension. The monitored extension is the one the user is already watching, for example an extension shown on a Busy Lamp Field (BLF) key or listened in on during call monitoring.
