Set up Email Notifications for Missed Calls

Cloud Voice can alert an extension user by email each time they miss an incoming call, so nothing slips through unnoticed. You enable this per extension.

  • The system email server must be configured so the platform can send outbound mail.
  • The extension you want to notify must have an email address on file.
  1. Sign in to the PBX (Private Branch Exchange, your hosted phone system) management portal and go to Extension and Trunk > Extension, then open the extension you want to edit.
  2. Select the Features tab.
  3. Under Notifications, tick Send email notifications on missed calls.
  4. Click Save, then Apply.

Whenever the extension user misses a call, Cloud Voice emails the alert to the address associated with the extension.
