Manage Allowed Numbers

Allowed-number lists control which callers are permitted through even when a blocking rule would otherwise stop them. Once you have created a list, you can rename it, change which numbers it covers, or remove it entirely. You would edit a list to keep an exemption current (for example, adding a new office number), and delete a list when the exemption is no longer needed. This page walks through both editing and deleting existing lists.

  1. Sign in to the PBX web portal and open Call Features > Blocked/Allowed Numbers > Allowed Numbers.
  2. Locate the list you want to change and click the edit icon Edit next to it.
  3. In the dialog that opens, adjust any of the three editable fields as required: the list name, the allowed number(s) it contains, or the type.
  4. Click Save, then Apply to put the change into effect.
