Add a Speed Dial Number
Speed dial lets you assign a short code to a full phone number so that a frequently called external contact can be reached without dialing the entire number each time. This page walks through creating one speed dial entry.

The prefix is what tells the system a dialed number is a speed dial code rather than an internal extension, so it must be configured before speed dial codes will work.
