Disconnect LDAP Integration

LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is a standard way for systems to read contact records from a shared directory server. Cloud Voice can sync company contacts from one LDAP directory at a time. If you want to point Cloud Voice at a different database, you must end the current LDAP integration first. Disconnecting also gives you the chance to clear out any contacts or phonebook that the previous sync created.

  1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice management portal and open Contacts > Company Contacts.

  2. Near the top of the page, select Synchronize Contacts.

  3. Switch to the LDAP tab.

  1. In the top-right corner, choose Disconnect.

  2. Optionally, decide what to do with the data the sync already created:

    • Enable Delete Synced Contacts to remove the contacts that were imported from LDAP.
    • Enable Delete Phonebook created by synchronization to remove the phonebook that the sync generated.
  3. Select Confirm.

Once confirmed, the LDAP integration is disconnected and you are free to set up a new directory source.
