Export and Import Emergency Numbers
Cloud Voice lets you move emergency numbers in and out of the phone system as a CSV file (a comma-separated values file that opens in any spreadsheet program). Exporting produces a ready-made template you can edit offline, and importing writes those entries back to the system. This is the fastest way to review, bulk-edit, or migrate your emergency dial rules instead of adding numbers one at a time in the portal.
Export emergency numbers
Section titled “Export emergency numbers”Export sends every emergency number to a single CSV file, which you can then add to, trim, or adjust as needed.

Sign in to the PBX (private branch exchange, your business phone system) web portal and open Call Control > Emergency Number.

Click Export.
The CSV downloads to your computer. For the meaning of each column and how to fill it in, see Emergency Number Parameters.
Import emergency numbers
Section titled “Import emergency numbers”Before you import, make sure your file meets these requirements:
- Format: UTF-8 CSV
- Size: under 50 MB
- File name: fewer than 127 characters
- Contents: every value must satisfy the parameter rules described in Emergency Number Parameters
To import the file:

Sign in to the PBX web portal and open Call Control > Emergency Number.

Click Import.

In the window that opens, click Browse and choose your CSV file.

Click Import.
The entries from the file appear in the Emergency Number list.
