How do I hide the minimized Cloud Voice App Desktop on the Windows taskbar?

When you minimize the Cloud Voice App Desktop, its icon normally stays visible on the Windows taskbar (the bar along the bottom of the screen). If you would rather keep the app out of the way, you can turn that behavior off so a minimized window drops to the system tray instead.

Note

This setting applies only to the Cloud Voice App Desktop for Windows.

1. In the Windows system tray, right-click the Cloud Voice App icon and choose Settings.

   

   Tip

   The system tray is the small cluster of icons next to the clock at the far-right end of the taskbar. If you do not see the Cloud Voice App icon there, click the upward arrow (Show hidden icons) to reveal icons that Windows has tucked away.

2. Under System, clear the When minimized, display in the task bar checkbox.

Once minimized, the app no longer shows on the taskbar. It keeps running in the system tray, so calls and messages still come through. To restore the taskbar behavior, reopen Settings and select the same checkbox again.
