Cloud Voice App Web Client Guide

The Cloud Voice App web client runs entirely in your browser, giving you a full softphone (a software phone that lets you make and take calls from your computer, no physical desk phone required) and collaboration workspace without installing anything. This guide gives you step-by-step procedures and reference information for signing in, making and handling calls, messaging your colleagues, and tailoring your extension to the way you work.

From the web client you can:

  • Place, receive, transfer, and record calls straight from a browser tab.
  • Message coworkers one-to-one or in group chats.
  • Host and join audio and video conferences.
  • Send and receive faxes, review call logs and recordings, and pick up voicemail.
  • Manage your contacts and adjust your personal preferences.

Use the pages below to find the task you need:

  • Getting started: sign in and get oriented.
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA): add a second layer of sign-in security beyond your password.
  • Extensions: set up how your extension appears and behaves.
  • Contacts: browse and manage company contacts.
  • Chat: send instant messages and share files.
  • CTI: Computer Telephony Integration, which lets the browser control calls that ring and connect on a linked desk phone.
  • Calls: everything about handling calls in the browser.
  • Audio conferencing: set up voice-only meetings.
  • Video conferencing: host meetings with video and screen sharing.
  • Fax: send and receive faxes online.
  • Call logs and recordings: review your CDR (Call Detail Record) history and listen to recordings.
  • Voicemail: listen to and manage messages.
  • Preferences: update your profile and personal settings.
