Clear Internal Chat History

Internal chat is the private messaging feature you use to message colleagues on the same phone system from the Cloud Voice App. The messages you send and receive are saved on the phone itself, and they stay available in the app until you clear them. Use the steps below when you want to wipe the message history for a single conversation, for example to remove a sensitive thread or tidy up a busy chat list.

  1. In the Cloud Voice App, open Chat and select Internal Chat.
  2. Open the conversation you want to clear, then tap the more options icon More options in the top-right corner.
  3. On the Chat Information screen, tap Clear Chat History.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, tap OK.

The conversation’s message history is removed from the Cloud Voice App on your device.
