Create a Meeting Link

With Cloud Voice video conferencing, you can set up a single-use meeting ahead of time and hand out its link so attendees know where to go before the meeting starts. This page walks you through generating that link and sending it out early.

  1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App and open Video Conferencing.
  2. Select Create Meeting Link, then fill in the meeting details:
    • Meeting Name: A title for the meeting.
    • Meeting Time: The date and time the meeting takes place. The link stays active for 48 hours starting from this time.
    • Meeting Password: Optional. A password every participant must type in before they can successfully join.
    • Host Password: The password that identifies whoever hosts (runs) the meeting, separate from the Meeting Password above. Keep the default or set your own. A random 6-digit password is filled in for you; select the Show password icon to reveal it. If you want to replace it, use a value that combines digits with upper- and lower-case letters.
    • Memo: Optional. A short note about the meeting.
  3. Select Save.

The meeting appears in your Upcoming Meetings list, and Cloud Voice creates its link automatically.
