Configure AI Call Transcription

AI Call Transcription converts a two-party conversation into readable text as the call happens, then produces a summary once the call wraps up. The transcript captures the dialogue, highlights key points, and pulls out any to-do items, so you can review a call without listening to the recording. Use the steps below to turn on and tailor the feature in the Cloud Voice App on your desktop.

Confirm the following are in place:

PBX server (PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange, the phone system that hosts your extension)

  • The server firmware is version 84.20.0.74 or newer.
  • Your administrator has switched on Call Transcription for your extension.

  • Your desktop app is version 1.15.3 or newer.
  1. Sign in to the Cloud Voice App, then open Preferences > AI.
