Manage Internal Chat Members

As conversations grow or shift focus, you may need to bring new colleagues into an internal chat or take people out of a group. This page covers both from the Cloud Voice App on your mobile device.

Anyone already in a conversation can pull additional colleagues into it.

  1. In the Cloud Voice App, open Chat > Internal Chat.
  2. Open the conversation you want, then tap the more icon More options in the top-right corner.
  3. On the Chat Information page, tap Add Member.
  4. Find and select the colleague or colleagues you want to include, then tap OK.

Group admins can take out anyone who no longer needs to be part of the conversation.

  1. In the Cloud Voice App, open Chat > Internal Chat.
  2. Open the group chat, then tap the more icon More options in the top-right corner.
  3. On the Chat Information page, tap Members.
  4. Remove the people you no longer want in the group:
    1. Tap the remove-member icon Remove member in the top-right corner.
    2. Select the checkbox next to each person you want to take out.
    3. Tap Remove in the bottom-right corner.
