Manage Internal Chat Members
As conversations grow or shift focus, you may need to bring new colleagues into an internal chat or take people out of a group. This page covers both from the Cloud Voice App on your mobile device.
Invite members to a chat
Section titled “Invite members to a chat”Anyone already in a conversation can pull additional colleagues into it.
- In the Cloud Voice App, open Chat > Internal Chat.
- Open the conversation you want, then tap the more icon
in the top-right corner. - On the Chat Information page, tap Add Member.
- Find and select the colleague or colleagues you want to include, then tap OK.
Remove members from a group chat
Section titled “Remove members from a group chat”Group admins can take out anyone who no longer needs to be part of the conversation.
- In the Cloud Voice App, open Chat > Internal Chat.
- Open the group chat, then tap the more icon
in the top-right corner. - On the Chat Information page, tap Members.
- Remove the people you no longer want in the group:
- Tap the remove-member icon
in the top-right corner. - Select the checkbox next to each person you want to take out.
- Tap Remove in the bottom-right corner.
