Receive Cloud Voice App calls during a mobile (GSM) call
When you are already on a standard cellular call, an incoming Cloud Voice App call can normally be blocked by your phone. GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) is the technology behind an ordinary cellular voice call, so “a GSM call” just means a regular phone call placed over your mobile carrier. On iOS this is handled for you automatically. On Android, you need to enable one setting before the app will notify you of a Cloud Voice App call while another call is in progress.
Enable the setting on Android
Section titled “Enable the setting on Android”- Open the Call page and tap your account name in the top-left corner.
- Choose Settings > Advanced.
- Enable Allow GSM calls during calling.

- Confirm by tapping OK in the prompt that appears.
What happens after you enable it
Section titled “What happens after you enable it”Once the option is on, a Cloud Voice App call that arrives while you are on a cellular call will ring on your mobile phone, and you can answer or decline it like any other call. If you answer the Cloud Voice App call, your active cellular call is placed on hold automatically.
