Cloud Voice App Login Overview

The Cloud Voice App gives you several ways to sign in on your mobile device. You can authenticate with your extension account (the phone account your administrator created for you) or, when your administrator has enabled it, use an account from a third-party identity provider such as Microsoft or Google. This page summarizes the available options so you can pick the one that fits how your organization is set up.

Your extension account works with three sign-in methods: scanning a QR (Quick Response) code, opening a login link, or typing your credentials by hand. The first two are the fastest, while the third is useful when you already have your account details or when you cannot open the welcome email on the same device.

When your account is created, you receive a welcome email that contains both a QR code and a login link. Either one lets you connect the app to the server in a single step, without entering any details manually.

To get started, see:

If you prefer to enter everything yourself, ask your system administrator for three things: your extension username, your password, and the network details of the server (the address and port the app connects to). With that information in hand, you can type it directly into the app to sign in.

For the full procedure, see Log in with your extension account using manually entered credentials.

If your administrator has connected the server to an external identity system, you can skip a separate Cloud Voice login and sign in with that account instead. This lets you reuse the same username and password you already use for email or other company tools.

Depending on which system your organization uses, see:
