Forward an Incoming Call to Voicemail

When a call comes in and you would rather not answer it live, you can drop it directly into voicemail from the incoming call screen so the caller can leave a message.

This option is available in the Cloud Voice App for Android only.

Before you start

Confirm the following before using this feature:

• Cloud Voice system: Your system is running firmware 84.20.0.128 or later.
• Cloud Voice App: You are on version 5.19.7 or later, and the app is turned on as a ring destination in your Ring Strategy.

Note

The incoming call screen (and its voicemail button) only appears when the call actually rings the app. If the Cloud Voice App is not enabled as a ring destination in your Ring Strategy, the call will not reach your phone, so there will be nothing to send to voicemail.

Send the call to voicemail

While your extension is ringing, tap the voicemail icon on the incoming call screen.

The call stops ringing and is routed to your voicemail, where the caller can record a message.
