Cloud Voice App Desktop Guide

The Cloud Voice App desktop client is a full-featured softphone (a phone that runs in software on your computer instead of a physical desk phone) and collaboration workspace that runs as a native application. This guide covers everything from signing in for the first time to placing calls, messaging teammates, and fine-tuning the app around the way you work.

With the desktop app you can:

  • Place, answer, transfer, and record calls without a physical desk phone.
  • Message colleagues individually or in group conversations.
  • Host and join audio conferences.
  • Send and receive faxes, and review your call logs, recordings, and voicemail.
  • Trigger common actions with keyboard hotkeys, and control a linked desk phone through CTI (Computer Telephony Integration, which lets you dial and manage a physical phone from your computer).
  • Connect the app to Microsoft Outlook so calls and contacts stay in sync.

Jump to the topic you need:

  • Getting started, install, sign in, and get your bearings.
