Send Call Details via Email

The Cloud Voice App lets you hand off a call’s details to email in a single step. Contact information, any notes you took, and the AI call summary can all be forwarded to a colleague or kept for your own records. You can do this while the call is still connected or once it has finished, which makes call follow-up faster and keeps everyone on the same page.

Your PBX (Private Branch Exchange, the server that routes your calls) must be running firmware 84.21.0.66 or later.

Choose the email client you want the app to use, then finish setting it up:

  • System default email client: Set a default mail application in your operating system and sign in to an account.
  • Web-based email client: Sign in to your account in that provider’s web interface.
  1. Open the email action that matches your situation.

    While a call is active:

    • If call notes are available, choose Call Notes, then Send Email.

Active call panel showing the call notes area with the email-sending action

    • If call notes are not available, choose More, then Send Email.

    After a call ends:

    • In the post-call pop-up window, click the email icon.

    • In your call logs, hover over the call you want and click the email icon.

The app opens your chosen email client, desktop application or web app, and starts a new message that already has the recipient address, a subject, and a body filled with the call details.

  2. Add any other recipients, then review and adjust the message as needed.

  3. Click Send.

The call details are delivered to the recipients you specified.
