Why can't I edit or delete a meeting link?

A meeting link in the Cloud Voice App is the invitation you share so people can join a meeting you organized. When you open one of your meetings, you normally see controls to edit its details or delete the link. If those controls are greyed out or missing, the link is no longer valid, and an invalid link cannot be changed or removed by hand.

A meeting link stops being editable in either of these situations:

  • The meeting has already ended.
  • You and at least one other participant were in the meeting during its active window, and you then left the meeting.

Once either happens, the meeting is closed and its link is retired automatically.

An invalid link can still show in your list until the display catches up with the server. To clear it:

  1. Refresh the page (reload it in your browser, or close and reopen the meeting list in the app).
  2. Confirm the invalid meeting link no longer appears.
